JACQUI LANIER
Owner
Jacqui grew up riding and showing hunters but took a couple decades off to grow her law practice and raise two children. In 2018 she reignited her passion for horses and now cares for five of her own at her farm near Gowensville. Jacqui does dressage on her horses, while her daughter, Jazzy, shows hunter/jumpers. Both Jacqui and her teenage daughter are active horse show participants. Jacqui is absolutely thrilled to be the new owner of Motlow, and can't wait to see what her and her team accomplish at the farm.
LISA BOBBITT
Barn Manager and Head Trainer
Lisa began riding at age 7 in Southern California. As an 'Army Brat', frequent moves were a reality. Every 3-4 years, Lisa's family would move and Lisa would find another barn to begin riding. Frequent moves enabled Lisa to work with a variety of trainers, horses and disciplines across the country. Not only does Lisa have experience with Hunters and Jumpers, but many facets in between. Lisa currently resides in Taylors, South Carolina and enjoys coaching young riders in Equitation and Hunter/Jumpers. Though she spent the last 13 years in the Aiken and Camden area, since the move in 2020 she has been fortunate to train in Greenville, Travelers Rest and Landrum. Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping dedicated junior riders achieve their riding goals. Lisa is extremely excited to bring her horse knowledge and training talents to Motlow.
